Forgive yourself

Forgiving yourself can be much harder than forgiving someone else. Forgive all of the mistake that you’ve done. Forgive yourself for not being able to accomplish something. Forgiving yourself is an important act of moving forward and releasing yourself from the past. It’s also a way of protecting your mental health and the way you behave around people, as well as when you’re alone.

Now think back to the last time you harmed someone else. Have you forgiven yourself? We all make mistakes, through actions or words, often, someone will get hurt. In the past, I was a very straightforward and nasty person. Through words, I’ve hurt too many people and I couldn’t forgive myself from all of that. It made me felt so ashamed because of the things that I’ve done, be it to people I love or don’t have good impression with.

We must know that we all mess up sometimes. It’s…

Do people really LIVE in the moment?

As For The Time Being...

So, I’m well aware that I’ve mentioned numerous times that this blog is mainly for all accounts happening in the time being, but I swear this flashback is relevant to what’s happening in my “now”.

This had to have been somewhere around January 2014

In these days I classified myself as an “island girl” and participated in things that marked me as such. On this particular night, I was gearing up to leave home. Already having resigned from my God awful management job at the Beretania Safeway, I knew I only had a week left before I was heading for shark infested mainland waters.

(in case you didn’t read “The Beginning” link, in Hawaii, Mainland = continental U.S.)

I can’t recall the day…or days…but I know it was coming into the new year. I don’t believe in “New year, new me”. I like me just the way I am. I…

Ok I know it’s kind of dramatic to talk about songs. Let’s be honest songs are the best words you can hear when you feel happy or sad , confused or frustrated and etc. I mean they just express all those feelings we can’t explain with our own words. Personally I feel I’m going on a trip when I’m listening to music lol . It gives me that “soundtrack” of my life.

Men vs Women (in relationships)

I would like to start this post by disappointing everyone, so I can give you the good news later. So… Why do relationships fail? A question with many answers. Relationships end because of not expressing freely ones thoughts and feelings(in a nutshell). This includes both men and women. There is no guilty-free gender here. I will be as explicit as I can in describing what happens when relationships end or when people lose interest, or even why they have affairs.

Men have this ideal in their mind, it is called the “Ideal Woman”(IW). Every single man on this planet knows what his ideal woman looks, smells, feels, sounds, walks, talks like. Sadly, for every man out there, this woman does NOT exist. Using images and character traits of women a man has seen, or met, in his life, he creates this perfect being which lives inside his head and pops…

It’s Not Just You

The Daily Dahlia

Confession: probably my biggest pet peeve on the planet is when people start a question with “Am I the only one who…?” No. You’re not. You’re not the only one who writes that way, reads that way, likes that food, likes that band, thinks Benedict Cumberbatch sounds like a Game of Thrones character or looks like someone squeezed Spongebob and stuck googly eyes on him…you’re just not. But. There’s a different kind of “Is it just me?” feeling, and that’s the stress of when you’re drowning in something and nobody’s talking about it and you feel like everyone’s got it together but you, and so you don’t wanna say a thing, and it all snowballs until you basically wanna curl up and die. I know that feeling. It’s why I wrote this post after splitting with my first agent. So in case you are wondering any of these things, I…
